Jose Martinez

Jose has spent over thirty years taking photos. From a hectic start as a photo assistant to Albert Watson in New York straight through to shooting catalogues for Pendleton or Sundance, he has figured out the shutter button. An average day would find him making cowboy hats in his garage studio, sipping coffee at Macy’s in Flagstaff, or out on the road, looking for shots and places to explore.

Gavin’s journey in media started with running water bottles to the sweaty camera crew on The Amazing Race. He has worked over two hundred commercial, television, and film shoots in a ten year stint in the entertainment industry, taking photos all the while. He has walked the USA from south to north, and enjoys just about everything in life other than seafood.
