Itinerary

  • Join us for a welcome dinner to meet your fellow adventurers! Meet us at our hotel in Flagstaff, where our team will spell out the plan for the weekend over a hot meal. Then it’s off to bed for you to get your beauty sleep for the trip ahead. We ride at dawn!

  • We rise early and catch blue and golden hour at Wupatki National Monument. When the light shifts we’ll explore the contrasting volcanic rock and sandstone with some black and white photography, then head to Cameron for some lunch. We’ll push on to Page and check in to our lodging, do some image review, and prepare for our sunset at Horseshoe Bend.

  • Sunrise will find us at the toadstools, capturing dawn light on white and red sandstones. We’ll be back in Page for lunch, then will hit a swirling landscape of rock known as the beehives.

  • We’ll catch sunrise at Horseshoe Bend, then join a tour of Antelope Canyon. NOTE: Antelope is susceptible to flash flooding. We will have substitutes in case of rain. From there we hit the road back to Flagstaff, with a few stops dependent on weather and the cooperation of interesting clouds.

- This itinerary is subject to change due to weather, road conditions, closures, apocalyptic activity, or impromptu photo stops for clouds that look like dragons. -

How a trip like this works…

Our trips are intended to be a bit more than the photo. We’ll do some games at our meet and greet, swap some stories, and share some of our knowledge about the areas we love. Our hope is that you not only leave with some great images, but some laughs and maybe even a memory or two.

We’re social people, and would love to hear from you if you’re interested in taking a trip with us. Reach out anytime. If you’re feeling ready, go ahead and book! We’ll be in touch.

  • In addition to the few trips listed here on the site, we offer day trips and bespoke tours as well. Please reach out if you are looking for a guide or two for your next adventure!

  • History favors the bold! Feel free to follow your heart and book a trip. OR, you can send us a message and we’ll give you a call to answer any questions you might have. That’s probably what my mother would do. And she’s a smart lady.

  • Are any of us really that different?

Well, our trips are. Images have stories behind them. We help make the stories. Our guides curate not just the best photo spots, but the best vibes. Your photos will conjure memories of meals shared, places walked and explored, and knowledge about people and places gained.
